Dr. Florence Naab

Dr. Florence Naab is a lecturer and the Head of the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the University of Ghana School of Nursing. Dr. Naab’s research is in the area of the psychosocial health problems associated with infertility among men and women. She has investigated infertility among men and the relationship between cultural beliefs and infertility related psychosocial health problems. She has tested the feasibility and acceptance of a psycho-educational programme to treat depression among women with infertility in Ghana.

She has published widely in the area of infertility and is in the process of testing the effectiveness of another psycho-educational programme on an individual basis to reduce symptoms of depression among women.
