Mrs. Vera Asimah Ackah

Mrs. Vera Asimah Ackah is a nurse educator and a Peri-operative nurse. She has been working as a nurse for 17 years and is also a Para- counsellor. She holds a Bachelor of Art with Psychology degree in Nursing and a Master of Philosophy degree in Nursing. Her research interest is in the area STRESS. She is  a member of Sigma Theta Thau, a Fellow of West African College of Nursing, a Foundation Fellow of Ghana College of Nursing and Midwives and a member of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association.  She is currently a lecturer at the School of Peri-Operative and Critical Care Nursing, Korle-Bu, Ghana (Affiliated to University of Cape Coast).
